Give you very accurate distances with some cool features like pin seeker. Buy over a GPS. Countless times I play with people who use their phone, a GPS watch, or some other GPS device. Sometimes their distance is accurate, other times it is not. They are usually off by 5 yards and off by 15 or more a few times a round. Would you like to be 15 yards off or would you like to carry the range finder and get +-1 yard. Enough said.

I agree. I compared this to my golf cart’s GPS the other day and no kidding it was off by about 5-7 yards on average and sometimes more.

Glad to hear you found my comment helpful. At first, I was undecided between the range finder and GPS. I chose the range finder because of its accuracy. Needless to say, the situations where another player has a GPS and calls out incorrect distances happens almost at every hole. Its usually 5 or more yards. Last round I believe this guy called out 2 that were 10 yards off and one that was 15 yards off! Laser range finder = accurate distance TO THE PIN, no doubts or errors.
