Of course you want that fun little Dash Mini Waffle Maker! Amazon is the place to get it – plus you get to enjoy all the reviews and photos that people share of their waffle making triumphs. How can such a cute little appliance like this become so popular? I haven’t got a clue, but it IS extremely popular!
I like to look at Amazon star ratings, and this little powerhouse gets a whopping 4.5 stars, 87% of which are 4 and 5 stars (77% = 5-stars and 10% = 4-stars).
Of course, in the interest of total transparency, we need to look at the 1-star ratings as well (which comprise 6% of all the ratings). The most recent complaints (as of May 24, 2019) include the sentiment that the Dash Mini Waffle Maker is too small. Hmmm. Well, I’m not quite sure what to make of that because it’s SUPPOSED to be small. “Mini” is the giveaway in the title.
Nonetheless, another person’s appliance arrived broken. Fair enough. To their credit, however, the manufacturer responded that it shouldn’t have happened, and told the customer to reach out to them so they could make it right.
Now, about all the positive reviews – and there are a lot – the words “cute” and “adorable” appear frequently. Almost like this little fella is a pet. And the photos these folks share of their waffles is like they are showing off their pets as well. For all I know, they’re also posting their little waffles on Facebook or Instagram too. So, go figure!
Waffle lovers unite over the Dash like weiner dog owners unite at the annual weiner dogs on parade at the Dachshund Spring Fiesta in Washington Square Park in New York City (I got to witness this myself some years ago, and was astounded at how many of these little sausage dogs actually live in NYC). If you don’t believe me, I’ve put a video of it below…
But anyway, I got off topic. Look, for less than the price of a couple of groovy designer coffees, you too can have the Dash Mini Waffle Maker (and choose from 9 colors too)! And what the heck, it’s going to probably cost you less than if you actually bought a full-sized waffle somewhere (or at least close to the same cost, with tax and tip. 🙂 )
I didn’t forget – Here’s a video from the Dachshund Spring Fiesta – Oh wow! It just occurred to me: “DASH Mini Waffle Maker”…”DACHSHUND Mini Dogs!” Coincidence? I think not…
