I’m posting this because it’s one of the most unusual things I’ve ever seen when it comes to New Hampshire’s highest peak – Mount Washington. We’ve researched this online for a couple of hours, and cannot find anything about it at all. It’s like a “shell casing” with the little “medallion” glued to it – see the photo.
If you were looking for a really one-of-a-kind gift for someone who loves the White Mountains of New Hampshire, you may want to have a look at this! And, while it’s not exactly a “Black Friday” or “Cyber Monday” type of sale, it IS an unusual gift that would definitely surprise the New Hampshire or Mount Washington fan – people who love climbing and hiking there. Honestly, we have no clue what it really is, but it’s worth a look!
The only thing we DO know is that it appears that the altitude of the mountain was considered 6,293 feet from somewhere around 1853 until about 1861. It also says “Mount Washington Club.” Other than that, your guess is as good as ours! Check it out! I think it’s going to sell quickly.
