Blain’s Farm and Fleet is on a roll right now with their huge tool cabinet sales! THIS one is all about the Duracraft Pro 6 Drawer Chest. Here’s the scoop on this tidy tool cabinet…
… because when you are building a workshop from scratch or need to add more storage space for tools in the garage or at work, we’re all in favor of choosing a brand we trust. Duracraft’s Pro 6 Drawer Tool Chest matches with their other Pro series tool chests and drawers to create an aesthetically pleasing add-on with durable elements and sensible features of design.
Before we continue the review (below this photo), here’s what it looks like – then scroll down for the “rest of the story.” NOTE! Currently On Sale for Only $79.99 (marked down $70 from the original price of
$149.99 – no coupon code needed for this price, but this special promo is good from 8/4/16 until 9/7/16) Originally, this sale was scheduled to end on 8/3/16, but they alerted us to a special extension! – See it HERE.
The No-slam Drawer
The top lid of this chest is protected by dual friction stays. Stays create resistance so that when you drop the lid it will not slam. Slamming is noisy and alarming, could hurt someone whose fingers are in the wrong place at the wrong time, and wears out your equipment quickly. This special dual friction design contributes to the long life of your storage drawers and overall safety in the shop.
Lots of Room
Duracraft’s mid-size chest divides items between 6 drawers and one top compartment to provide a total of 1,832 inches³. That is ample space for the average household set of screwdrivers, pliers, and wire cutters. When you don’t have a lot of room for storage, a chest measuring 26 inches wide by just 12.4 inches deep will not swallow up floor space either. If this is an addition to existing storage space, it provides room to add still more stuff down the road.
When you are only storing nails and bolts, security doesn’t matter too much. Who’s going to steal those? A set of clear stacking drawers or some plastic pots would be cheap and effective. When tools cost hundreds of dollars to replace they should be securely stored against theft. The Pro 6 Drawer also secures items against the elements. Treat valuable equipment with respect and it will serve you for a long time. Examples include Duracraft’s own brand of mechanics’ tools sold in sets and individually.
Duracraft storage equipment is powder-coated to create a durable but also attractive exterior. Drawers are lined so that you don’t ruin them on the inside with pointy tools and parts.
That’s pretty much everything we’ve got on this nice chest! So….
