The No-slam Drawer
The top lid of this chest is protected by dual friction stays. Stays create resistance so that when you drop the lid it will not slam. Slamming is noisy and alarming, could hurt someone whose fingers are in the wrong place at the wrong time, and wears out your equipment quickly. This special dual friction design contributes to the long life of your storage drawers and overall safety in the shop.
Lots of Room
Duracraft’s mid-size chest divides items between 6 drawers and one top compartment to provide a total of 1,832 inches³. That is ample space for the average household set of screwdrivers, pliers, and wire cutters. When you don’t have a lot of room for storage, a chest measuring 26 inches wide by just 12.4 inches deep will not swallow up floor space either. If this is an addition to existing storage space, it provides room to add still more stuff down the road.
Security
