Starter Set Contents
A VOX Mini Starter Kit comes with the Volt Hybrid Tank, Rebel Tank, or a Vice Sub Ohm tank, any of which is capable of coping with the higher demands of an adjustable 40W device. While this doesn’t sound like much when you can get up to 100W from a VaporFi Edge, the VOX Mini introduces vapers to the customizable format they are longing for.
In the Kit
Your set will arrive with a mod, USB cable, and one tank as per your selection. The battery is already inside the VOX Mini, so there isn’t one in this kit and you won’t have to buy extras.
Features of the VOX Mini
That 2500mAh battery will last for several hours, maybe a whole day, but that depends on how high you run the wattage. Values are adjustable by increments of 0.1W from a lowest point of 7 watts. A lot of vapers will start here just to get the hang of adjustable power and also to see the contrast between 7W and 40W.
Minimum atomizer resistance, 0.3 ohms, isn’t as low as a VOX 60 TC can handle, but is still excellent resistance for achieving big clouds. Read atomizer resistance on the OLED screen. Although coil replacement packaging tells you resistance ratings, it doesn’t hurt to have a means of checking. Manufacturers’ errors cause inaccuracies periodically.
The VOX Mini is protected against low resistance, low voltage, and short circuit. If a malfunction has been prevented or a problem is imminent, the screen shows a code so you can act by turning off the mod and letting it cool down, checking the resistance of your coil, or recharging the battery.
Recharge the battery via USB and while doing so, keep on vaping. Pass-through capacity is really convenient for vapers who work at their desk.
Tank Selection
The 4.5-ml Volt Hybrid Tank is so-called because you use pre-built coils for 0.5 or 1.2 ohms or build your own coils for higher wattage and lower resistance. A Rebel Tank provides 4-ml capacity and 2.6-ohm resistance for very low output. With the Vice Tank, you get similar resistance to the Volt but without an RBA option.
