Sometimes, we freshen the outside and forget our insides. Makeup, a new top, and a hair-cut make us feel better for a while, but we must clean out the gunk internally too. That’s what Jus by Julie is all about.
3 Day Soup + Juice Cleanse
Your day will start with juice, add soups full of proteins and other nutrients, and your quick cleanse is over in a flash. Each of three days is broken into an alternating selection of sweet and savory; juice and soup; but always liquids to wash you out. Call it a spring clean.
What Are the Flavors?
On the first day, you drink Sweet Spin Juice, Split Pea Soup, Spicy Pomegranate Juice, Carrot Ginger Soup, Butternut Squash Soup, and Chia Berry Juice. Days 2 and 3 also feature the same first and last drinks plus Spicy Pomegranate Juice.
On the second day, add Red Lentil Soup, Detox Broth, and Pumpkin Coconut Bisque. Carrot Turmeric Soup, Roasted Tomato Gazpacho, and Hearty Potato Leek Soup fill out day 3. There’s a lot of variety and no way to become bored. Ingredients are non-GMO.
Three Juices
It’s sweet, but with a twist. Greens and bananas for breakfast provide A and C Vitamins. Spicy Pomegranate Juice resembles that famous lemonade cleansing drink. Rev up the metabolism, improve circulation, and enhance detoxification with spicy lemonade.
Chia Berry Juice is protein and fiber-rich. Fiber gathers up waste, including toxins, and you get rid of them when you go to the bathroom. You might be going for liquids here, but the protein in your drinks will help you feel full and energized. Jus by Julie adds strawberries, agave, lemon, and pomegranate. It’s summer in a glass.
Dessert in a Glass?
Choco Nana Juice boosts your spirits with a blend of cocoa and banana. Strawberries give the drink another dimension and the potassium in bananas helps balance circulation and energy.
Serious about Soup
Split Pea Soup is full of fiber, about half of your daily requirement. Peas contain protein too and the entire soup is a source of both Vitamin K and potassium. Red Lentil Soup is also a source of protein and fiber, this time with more warmth.
Gazpacho is traditionally eaten cold, but eat soup the way you like it. No matter what, this one will be intense and warm from the peppers.
Pumpkin Coconut Bisque is lightly spiced too. Roasted pumpkin is said to be an antioxidant. Coconut is the latest miracle food, rich with healthy fats and flavor that takes you to the middle east. Butternut Squash Soup is similar, and coconut milk is back in Carrot Ginger soup.
Detox Broth contains some major germ fighters. You should taste ginger, onion, garlic, mushroom, broccoli, and carrot, but no meat. Carrot Turmeric, however, brings the natural ancient remedy of curcumin to western bodies. You don’t have to prepare turmeric root from scratch, just drink this soup. Turmeric is good for inflammation, digestion, immunity, and more. Carrots are full of vitamins too.
Potato Leek is a classic. It tastes creamy, but this soup is good for you. Enjoy the iron boost plus minerals for strong bones, teeth, and hair. Those minerals give you energy too.
